You would think that movie theaters would go out of business, what with the popularity of DVD movie rentals and Pay Per View movies, but the movie industry is still going strong. When it comes to looking for something fun to do on the weekends, going to the movie theater is still pretty high on the list, probably only second to fine dining and shopping. Sure, you could rent a movie to watch at home, but it's just not the same as going to the movie theater. What are the advantages to the movie theater? Well, for starters, you're actually doing something when you go to the theater.

You're getting out of the house, which is always a plus. And there's something about the movie theater popcorn that is especially delicious. In fact, people normally associate good popcorn with movie theaters. The movie is shown on a big screen, with surround sound, which enhances the whole movie experience. The box office usually has a choice of at least 5 movies to choose from, depending on how big the movie theater is. So chances are, there's something for everyone.

Varun Khandelwal is one serious young actor. Though he shoots tight schedules for his show Jyoti on NDTV Imagine, Varun spends his freetime pumping iron at the gym. "It is my relaxant," he says.
