"The file J:DCIM00APPLEIMG_0004.mp4 cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.I enabled the ipod for disk usage. I go to movie maker click import video. go to the ipod under "Computer". Click DCIM but the files arent there. I can go to "computer" from the start tab and open the files through quick time. so i figured if i made the default player Movie Maker i might trick it into playing. when i did that i got the error above. so i tried opening them through windows media player. it says the player is unknown but it can play the file just make sure its a trustworthy source. i click yes the i get thisWindows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.how do i get my videos into movie maker so i can edit them "
